Do I need to be fluent?+
No. SpeakSix has classes for A1, A2, B1, and B2. Choose the description closest to your English today. Your starting assessment then helps you find a group at a similar level.
Who will I be speaking with?+
You’ll join up to five other learners at your chosen level. This is structured conversation practice: the lesson supplies individual prompts, timed turns, and two speaking styles. A dedicated teacher is not included in this format.
What if I’m the quiet one in the group?+
There’s a place for you, too. A personal prompt and optional phrase help give you a starting point. You can finish early or pass a turn; you don’t need to fill the whole turn.
How does a class work?+
Each class lasts 55 minutes: two 25-minute speaking blocks with a five-minute break. Follow the presentation, take turns with your personal prompt, and keep useful phrases in your private notes. Join up to five minutes early to settle in.
Do I need to download anything?+
No. You join the conversation and practise your Shuffle Cards directly in your browser. You’ll need an internet connection and microphone access to speak.
Can I join from another country?+
Yes. Class times are shown in your profile’s local time zone. Choose a conversation that fits your day, wherever you are.
