Start with something shared
A common topic and visual prompts give everyone a way into the conversation. Personal questions invite different experiences and perspectives.
English conversation practice built around a shared topic, a small group, and space to speak.
The idea sparked in 2016: give English learners a welcoming place to put their words into conversation. We began testing it around tables in Kyiv, then brought sessions to communities at UNIT.CITY, Creative Quarter Gulliver, and Coworking Platforma Leonardo.
LG commercial screens and live Prezi presentations gave everyone a shared topic and a way to join in. That practical beginning still shapes SpeakSix: small groups, useful prompts, and space for each voice. Today, the conversation continues online.

A clear topic, room to respond, and a useful phrase to take away.

Timed turns give each learner a chance to speak. Listening, asking a follow-up question, and responding are part of the practice too.
Private notes and lesson cards help you revisit a phrase or idea. Bring it into another conversation when you are ready.
SpeakSix is an online English speaking club for learners at A1, A2, B1, and B2. Each class brings together up to six learners for 60 minutes, with two speaking rounds, a short break, self-assessments, and a wrap-up.
These are structured conversations between learners. A dedicated teacher is not included in this format.
Bring an idea, a question, or the English you use today. Short answers, different accents, and moments of hesitation are part of practice.
A little structure helps everyone take the next turn.
